While exporters on the East Coast predominantly depend on farmed shrimp, those on the West Coast depend extra on sea-caught fish. India yearly exports around Rs 45,000 crore well worth of seafood, most of which is aquaculture shrimp.
Catches from the sea for export are especially shrimps, squids, and cuttlefish. The Department of State within the US issued a notification in May remaining year banning wild-caught shrimps from nations that don’t comply with fishing practices to defend sea turtles. NHAI in talks with LIC to elevate Rs 25,000 crore
New Delhi: The national highways constructing authority is talking with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) to raise around Rs. 25,000 crores via the sale of bonds this financial 12 months as part of its long-time investment arrangement with the insurer, a senior reliable said.
