Mumbai-primarily based Tiny Spoons raised Rs 2 crore from a group of angel traders, including Anil Joshi, Managing Partner of Unicorn India Ventures; Paresh Kariya, an early-stage investor in Naaptol; Drums International HNI investor Harsha Vijay, and others.
The startup will launch new flavors and merchandise at the sparkling price range, enhance its distribution and presence in towns like Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi-NCR, create logos and product awareness, and beef up its sales group.

Started in 2018 by Dharmesh Ratanghayra, Tiny Spoons specializes in natural baby meal products and sells EU-certified natural up-to-consume fruit and vegetable purees.
While living in Europe, Dharmesh and his spouse Manisha Sharma ought to easily source organic meal purees for their daughter Nishka. However, on their occasional visits to India, they realized a lack of nutritional, wholesome, and organic choices for little ones.
Dharmesh stated it became a “blend of Swades second and an opportunity to make a distinction,” which led him to leave his task in December 2016.
He then spent two years traveling with natural farmers in India and speaking to his parents. Eventually, the duo developed recipes with the assistance of food technologists in Europe to cater to Indian youngsters.

Tiny Spoons claims its purees are free of preservatives, synthetic flavors, insecticides, and GM ingredients without added sugar, salt, or water. They are easy-to-hold pouches in two flavors – plum-prune, blueberry, banana, apple, and strawberry.
“Our food is 100 percent organized in Europe under the stringent EU-Organic certifications, and our packaging is handy and BPA-free,” said Dharmesh.
Tiny Spoons’ purees are to be had offline in addition to online. It will be held at Mothercare, Godrej Nature’s Basket, Food Hall, Namdharis, Le Marche, MK Retail, and other premium retail shops. Likewise, it is listed on structures like Amazon, FirstCry, Big Basket, Snapdeal, Flipkart, and many others.

Regarding organic food versus non-organic food, one of the most vital questions foremost weight-reduction plan enthusiasts and food-curious human beings want to ask is how to tell the distinction. In other words, how do you become aware of or differentiate organic food from traditional meals?
Frankly and truely talking, there may be no way to distinguish between organic meals and conventional food. We are pressured to rely on the human beings selling us the food to be straightforward. Luckily for us, however, there may be hope within labeling, which tells us which ingredients are organic and which foods are not. In us, the USDA calls for organic farms to follow a strict set of pointers to be licensed as organic.

Over and above this law, personal natural farmers’ institutions have their certification logo properly. The common factor among all of these is that, except for the certification, they also have seals with which they stamp foods and meal merchandise.
Labeling & substances profile

When it involves the identity of natural meals versus non-natural meals, one of the simplest techniques is “labeling” or ingredients’ profile. So, if you don’t feel too comfy approximately going to your nearest farmers’ marketplace to get your natural products, you may constantly look at the labels for your grocery keep. If any of the ingredients deemed organic in the shop carry one of the many organic certified seals and labels, you can be confident that it’s been organically produced. However, The one component you may want to appear for is exactly what the labels say. Even though certifications and labeling mention that the food you buy is organic, there are one-of-a-kind natural levels. This is the case now, not for the result and veggies you buy sparkling from the shop; however, the point for the many processed and pre-packaged organic meals tends to have more than one factor.
